ShapeShifter is still under development; it is an alpha (i.e. not completed and ready for beta testing), but decent enough for you to evaluate. It has only been developed and tested on Windows98 and Windows2000, but should work on Unix, Linux, Solaris, Macintosh and other Java enabled platforms. Please feedback if there are compatibility issues. Please read the installation instructions.

ShapeShifter runs on the Java runtime environment (JRE) version 1.4 which you must have installed. It comes in the sspackage bundle, presently only meant for Windows users. For those with JREv1_4 already, ShapeShifter can be obtained in the shapeshifter0_7a.zip or shapeshifter0_7a.jar files.

If ShapeShifter.jar does not execute on its own, use run_jar.bat.

For other platforms, visit the Java 1.4 download page to obtain the relevant Java runtime environment. You need this for ShapeShifter to run.

Get the Source

This is an open source development, so the source code is provided. But since many people would not want the source as it would mean downloading more files, it is provided in separate bundles which you can find in the archive in the development section.
